【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsfornon-activesurgicalimplants,hereafterreferredtoasimplants.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletodentalimplants,dentalrestorativematerials,transendodonticandtransradicularimplants,intra-ocularlensesandimplantsutilizingviableanimaltissue.Withregardtosafety,thisInternationalStandardgivesrequirementsforintendedperformance,designattributes,materials,designevaluation,manufacture,sterilization,packagingandinformationsuppliedbythemanufacturer,andteststodemonstratecompliancewiththeserequirements.Additionaltestsaregivenorreferredtoinlevel2andlevel3standards.NOTEThisInternationalStandarddoesnotrequirethatthemanufacturerhaveaqualitymanagementsysteminplace.However,theapplicationofaqualitymanagementsystem,suchasthatdescribedinISO13485,couldbeappropriatetohelpensuretheimplantachievesitsintendedperformance.
