【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplytotheconstruction,performance,andoperationofburglary-resistantelectriclockingmechanismsandtheirrelateddevices,suchascontrolunits,controlswitches,andpowersupplies,andthelikeusedtosecureandreleasedoors.1.2Aburglary-resistantelectriclockingmechanismshallberatedaccordingtothethreeelementsusedtodetermineitsmaximumeffectiveness:a)Staticstrengthratingof500pounds-force(2224N),1000pounds-force(4448N),or1500pounds-force(6673N).See54.2.1.b)Dynamicstrengthratingof33foot-pounds-force(45J),50foot-pounds-force(68J),or70foot-pounds-force(95J).See54.3.1.c)Enduranceratingof100,000or250,000cycles.See37.2.1.Aburglary-resistantelectriclockingmechanismshallberatedwithitsmaximumstaticstrength,dynamicstrength,andendurance.1.3Aburglary-resistantelectriclockingmechanismisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithanaccesscontrolsystemoramanual-releasemechanism.Aburglary-resistantelectriclockingmechanismshallbeconstructedsothatiteitherdoesnotinterferewithegressthroughthedoororotheropeningcoverthatitisusedtocontrol,oritslockingactionshallbecapableofbeingreleasedasrequiredbytheauthorityhavingjurisdictionifanemergencyegressisrequired.1.4Theserequirementsdonotpertaintothefire-retardantclassificationofadoorandreleasing-deviceassembly.1.5Theterm2product2asusedinthisstandardreferstoalltypesofburglary-resistantelectriclockingmechanisms.1.6Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
