【摘要】:ThisdocumentdealswithrequirementsforpressuresensitiveprotectivedeviceswhicharenotspecifiedinEN1760-1andEN1760-2.Themajorityofthesedevicesareproducedforspecificapplicationsandarenotavailableasoff-the-shelfitems.Thepurposeofthisdocumentrelatesprimarilytosafetyandreliabilityratherthansuitability.Fortherelationshipbetweensafetyandreliability,seeEN954-1:1996,AnnexD.Thisdocumentspecifiesrequirementsforpressuresensitiveprotectivedeviceswithandwithoutanexternalresetfacility.Thisdocumentdoesnotspecifythedimensionsofpressuresensitiveprotectivedevicesinrelationtoanyparticularapplication.SpecificrequirementsforparticularapplicationsmaybesetoutinrelevanttypeCstandards.Thedocumentdoesnotcoverstoppingdevicesusedonlyfortheregularoperation,includingemergencystopping,ofmachinery.Italsodoesnotapplytouseinlocationsaccessibletoelderlyordisabledpersonsorchildren,wherespecialadditionalrequirementsmaybenecessary.BasicrequirementsaregivenforpressuresensitiveprotectivedevicesnotcoveredinEN1760-1andEN1760-2.Specificrequirementsaregivenforthefollowingdevices:--pressuresensitivebumpers;--pressuresensitiveplates;--pressuresensitivewires(tripwires).NOTESomerequirementsaremadewithrespecttoelectromagneticcompatibility(EMC).TheseareintendedtomeettherequirementsoftheCouncilDirective98/37/EC("MachineryDirective")onlyandnotthoseofCouncilDirective89/336/EC("EMCDirective").
